Cueio (Bunny), for Cartoon Network / HBO Max

I directed seasons 2–5 of this series, managing a team of 10+ artists through Trello and remote/in-person meetings.

In addition to directing, I wrote episodes, created storyboards/animatics, and composed some music.

I was instrumental in building the "Cueio & Friends" YouTube channel, where my episodes have surpassed 10 million views.

Played a pivotal role in establishing the brand in Brazil and positioning the titles for successful acquisition by HBO and Cartoon Network.

The "CUEIO ESPACIAL" case

Never underestimate a "silly idea." During the production of HBO Max’s Cueio, I spent four hours recording an absurd, silly little track and a rough animatic just for fun.

To my surprise, that demo became a hit. It sparked a series of new songs and even a national tour, with "Cueio Espacial" becoming one of the most requested tracks in the show. I’ve since written "Vai Vaco" and "Tigui, Hey!" for the character. It’s a cool example of how a quick creative spark can turn into an unexpected nationwide success!

Just like “Cueio,” I worked as a director for this series, wrote episodes, did storyboards/animatics and some music.

I directed a team of 10+ artists with the help of a PM using Trello for the pipeline. Direction was done in person and through daily Zoom meetings.

I played an important role establishing the brand in Brazil, the YouTube channel, and positioning the titles for successful acquisition by HBO and Cartoon Network.

From 2020 to 2021, I served as the Creative Director for a YouTube channel with over 20 million subscribers. During my tenure, I led a successful strategic shift toward kid-friendly content, which significantly grew the audience and transformed the channel's demographics. My role was multifaceted; I personally handled scriptwriting, storyboarding, and the development of concept art for both characters and scenery when necessary.

In the end, due to various restrictions, the result was different from what was planned - even so, many scenes remained in the final video.
